Regulatory Trials

Administrative law or sometimes it is referred to as regulatory law is a broad area of law pertaining to administrative or government agencies. Government agencies create rules and regulations and are empowered to conduct hearing and render decisions and orders enforcing their rules and regulations. This area of practice includes such things as zoning petitions, license applications, contesting state and local violations, grievances. Some examples of administrative agencies that we appear before include: Municipal Zoning Boards, Municipal Planning Commissions, State and Municipal Licensing Boards, The Coastal Resource Management Council, The Rhode Island Department of Labor & Training, The Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights, The Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission, among others.
